From a legal standpoint, what did you expect? I understand a lot of people think he is guilty, which is fine. But I’m not sure why people are shocked that he skirted talking about a pending legal matter. He could have just been a dick and declined to comment, would that have been better or worse?

Some survivors want the perpetrator punished without having a competent investigation performed. That’s completely natural. It’s not, however something the institution should enable by setting up farcical investigations and kangaroo courts.
