Fun fact- The fire they were so “concerned” about was actually burning due east into Riverside county, towards Lake Elsinore (where 20,000 people were ACTUALLY under evacuation orders). So, it was basically going in the opposite direction from their home.

As a native Californian, the thing that pisses me off the most about this is that they thought nobody would notice how ludicrous a concept it is that they would take an impromptu SEVEN HOUR DRIVE with a pregnant woman and a small child to “escape” a fire four miles away.
