Yeah, definitely not unharmed. WTF. The broken arm is scary enough, but that injured knee...once you hurt a joint in an accident, that can cause issues for the rest of your life. Good job to everyone who allowed this to happen!

ew ew ew what what what.

Ohhhh, interesting. I thought maybe Kourtney had a fourth when I wasn’t looking.

At least she fared better than Rob, who didn’t even warrant a mention in Kim’s Tweet.

I was absolutely choking at “I’m not sure why it’s happening.”

I am too, and I totally hear you on that, but I also found that learning to be less of a people-pleaser in general was good practice for marriage (especially the part of marriage that involves joining a whole extra family.)

It does not have to cost that much. I spent way too much on my wedding, and even then, it was nowhere NEAR $80K. Then again, that was a decade ago...but honestly, the most important thing is just to not buckle to the pressure that’s going to be coming at you from all directions to add stuff. If you stay the course,

influencers are all about volume consumption. I don’t know how many of them take the time to actually pay attention to the stuff they consume.

YUP. In fact, the only time I ever had a tack button just fully FALL OFF a pair of jeans was from the pair on which I spent $200. My $40 Uniqlo jeans last forever.

whaaaaaat?? Had her MIL just given her a kidney recently or something?

who did she take?

They’re conflating this with the kind of thing that happens when, for example, politicians condemn acts of sexual violence by saying things like “as a father, I’m appalled by...” Which is similar but not the same, and the difference is important. In the politician-type statement, the message is “this only matters to

WTF. It’s not “ev-uh-ery.” It’s “ev-uh-ry.”

What is this world in which we’re living, where the children no longer know the name of Al B. Sure! ?

The third wave of feminism started like 30 years ago...

The lesson that stuck with me is not, I suspect, the lesson they intended.

Yes, people absolutely do do that. I think of spanking as happening on the bottom, or maybe the legs. I don’t think that you can “spank” someone in the face, for example. Anyway—I experienced both, though fairly rarely, growing up, and if forced to choose, I would pick being spanked. (though I guess maybe it would be

Ugh, yeah, being slapped has stayed with me much more vividly than being spanked. Not that either happened very often, but getting hit in the face is so personal, it just added to the humiliation. It also hurts much more; I guess probably because there’s less fat to cushion the blow, or something.

How are people’s houses so clean when this kind of thing happens?? If Oprah came to my door, I guarantee it would be a day I was recovering from a cold and there would be coffee grounds spilled on the floor or something.

Well, but then also with veneers.
