I loathe Trump with the fire of a thousand suns, but I can’t bag on him for this — I’d totally want to know about previous WH boning, too.

I get the logic here, but as someone who flies a lot, being stranded halfway across the country from home would make me cranky. And while I’d correctly blame the Trump admin, some in the public would blame the workers. Even some who support workers now would turn on them. The American public is fickle and selfish and…
I wouldn’t include the lining up in the neutral zone here. That wasn’t controversial, just bone headed.
What’s really fucked up is that with any other president, including anyone else from the 2016 Republican clown car, this wouldn’t be an issue.
Somewhere, Drew squirms.
I was talking about football only, which obviously DePaul and Loyola don’t have. I did go to DePaul games as a kid.
I once pretended to be Jeff George in backyard football (he was in college at the time), so there’s that.
Lol no. I root for all Chicago teams save one. In fact, I might not like Notre Dame, name aside, if I grew up elsewhere. Geography plays a huge part.
The only way you get in, as others have said, is if the hole is huge. Which we do see in games occasionally.
Notre Dame fan here. I can’t speak for all of us, but I grew up in the 80s, in Chicago (90 minutes from campus), with an Irish surname and no attachment via parents to another school. And I went to a school that only had basketball.
Same to you, regarding that username.
He’ll be going where the Boat Leaves From, since he’s Knee Deep at this point. He can take a Highway 20 Ride to Colder Weather, or maybe stop for a bite of Chicken Fried. Either way, he’s now Free to do Whatever It Is.
I actually agree with Nadler’s second statement. It IS too early. Impeachment is not a political cudgel to be used because we hate Trump. We need to see what Mueller has (and I am betting it will be enough to draw up articles). Look, I loathe Trump and agree he’s a motherfucker, but let’s do it the right way.…
Can we lower the noise around her all the way? She’s not going to turn America socialist, right-wingers. And she’s not gonna save us all, progressives. She’s a first-termer with a cool story and some policy ideas that may be good. That’s all.
OMG. Does she not get that the opposition to the wall is that it’s racist and even if you can argue that it isn’t, it’s going to be ineffective? I know people in ICE and they tell me that a lot of illegal immigrants get here by plane and just overstay visas. And many aren’t from Latin America, either, but overseas.…
Wait, I thought Apatow is pro-choice? You don’t really have a movie, or the same one, if they abort the fetus. A movie about keeping an unexpected baby and the humor that comes along with the process isn’t necessarily pro-life.
“it’s obvious that Carlson’s goal was just to get people hopped up that something is wrong, and they should be mad as hell and not take it any more”
She’s obviously full of it, but what I want to know is, why tweet a thought about a random encounter about someone asking for directions in the first place? It’s not interesting! I know, I know, many people feel the need to tweet boring thoughts/stories, but it would never even occur to me to tweet about it AT ALL.
Nah it’s more about the importance of the event. As a long-time season-ticket holder for an MLB team, I’ve thrown many tickets away. But I’ve kept, say, the World Series ticket. Or games that I went to with my lady friend. Or games that ended up being memorable. It’s actually easy to save tickets without taking up…
I feel you on this. I’ve thrown away many paper tickets (a random game that isn’t memorable doesn’t need to be kept) but I keep memorable ones. I have my White Sox WS ticket from 2005 somewhere. And I was irrationally devastated when I washed my pants with the 2009 Civil Rights game ticket in it, even though that game…
