A quarter?? Look at Richie Rich over here! Back in MY day we were happy with squished PENNIES!!

We didn’t want clicks back in the day. We just wanted to see a squished quarter.

I’m with you 100%—it’s too complicated of a car for its own good.

Can we talk for a minute about the absolutely bonkers hyperlinks in the first paragraph?

Yes, compared to an Elise weight has gone up quite a bit, but it’s not really an Elise replacement; the Emira replaced the Evora which was already at 3,175 lbs.

Porsche 911 Turbo : 3,635 - 3,790 lbs

I’m betting the upgrades are Musk demanding they somehow attach his flamethrowers to it.

And it can serve as a boat!! Wait, no...

You forgot it also fondles your balls and tickles your asshole while you drive

It’ll have a range of 18,000 miles on a single charge.

the roadster will go through 3 million tweets of hard testing before its released to the public. itll be fine.

It’s a 1st gen with that awful fitting cloth top—like a badly fitting toupee. And the side curtains probably hold the rain back as well as a screen door on a submarine holding back the ocean. That motor, due to its 90-degree V instead of being a 72-degree V like it should be for a 10-cylinder, has a goofy sound to it.

He’s just like Trump, they just make shit up on the spot and somehow millions of delusional cult members believe them.

He’ll never let go, Tesla is the only thing that makes him relevant and keeps him in the public eye no matter how much he mismanages it.

Same for me - I’ve given up completely trying to access Jalopnik or Gizmodo on mobile because of exactly that, pop ups and screen hijacking that leaves MAYBE one line of the article visible.

Same. Jalopnik wont even load on mobile. Insane

That doesn’t look like the engine from my Spitfire. Maybe I need an upgrade?

If you use Safari, it has a “Reader View” that lets you bypass the paywall on individual articles. This works on most sites but not all. I’m guessing other browsers have something similar, so you might want to give that a try.

You must be new to the New York Times. Everything they write is paywalled (they made a brief exception for COVID content). They also got dinged for some deceptive sub renewal stuff a while back. Much as I want to support independent news, that ain’t how you do it.
