I am on my third. I had a 91 Sedan, an 07 STS-V and now an 18 CTS. The first one went over 200k miles and the V was a dream until Iput bad gas in it. The CTS is just ok. I mean it’s a great car but going from 500hp (modded) to so much less is a snooze. 

... and I think we’ll find out it is Jones himself. He probably took all his money and “gifted” it to someone (to avoid paying up) who’s being told to drop in money to himself as needed.
