If casual riding is the goal, then no one on earth needs to spend more than a few hundred bucks on one. Maybe a grand if you want to be fancy.

Dude.....Just buy a modern mountain bike.

Did some Topazzin’ back in the day in friends cars. Can confirm that the result definitely made bridge abutments look more enticing every time.

Totally missed that. Thanks!!

Has Rob said that anywhere? I’m just curious, as I’ll read these every day as usual, but was curious about the change. You’ll notice that the segment is still called “Nice Price Or Crack Pipe”. Only the survey has changed.

Why has the name changed on NPOCP?

My thoughts exactly. With the nylon strings on a classical guitar, not only can you practice longer because your fingers don’t hurt, but the neck is wider, so you practice better because your fingers have to reach so much farther to hit the chords.

The sound of that thing gave me seizures, and I don’t have epilepsy

I get it, but there’s absolutely no excuse for something being so broken in just 3,000 miles, regardless if it’s a rental or not.

It was a 24hr rental from the OBX dealership, to be fair. But damn, it only had 3000 miles on it. So yeah, pretty sad to be falling apart like that. Still a gorgeous bike, though. I just wouldn’t own one.

It’s not the lineup, per se, it’s the actual brand that has the stigma.

Rode a brand new Fat Boy a couple years ago, and it leaked oil like a seive, third gear sounded like a box of gravel, and the handlebars were crooked.

These are cool little trucks, and this one is in amazing shape. I still couldn’t bring myself to give up $9k for though.

Because of the stigma that comes along with them. Younger people don’t want to look that way or act that way (a rich old guy cosplaying as a homeless Vietnam vet while flying the Gadsden/POW-MIA flags)

I disagree. They want a reliable and affordable bike, which are two things Harley cannot provide to the market. They also don’t want to play dress-up as homeless vets. People just want to ride without all that stigma attached. It was cool once, but those days are gone. Harley will either get with the times or go

True, but Ithink they could turn it around if they actually tried. They never actually try though, especially on the “affordable” front.

Build reliable bikes that people under 60 want to be seen on and can actually afford?

Didn’t even have to read this one to know it’s an immediate CP.

LOL!!!
