I love her sincere, hearty laugh in this clip. She's so amazing!

LOL, I was just thinking, I know who she reminds me of now: Thelma from Good Times. The beautiful BernNadette Stanis, AKA my husbands first true love before Whitney Houston, of course.

It does help when they actually witness the harassment. Your story just reminded me of an incident that I had completely tried to erase from my mind. My husband and I used to live in this little duplex in a popular downtown area. One night, while walking to the store, a car full of guys slowed down and yelled to my

Goodness gracious. Old person speaking...so when did she grow up? She is lovely! I can't believe she isn't still 9.

Loving all of the bright colors. Can't wait for spring! Lupita and Amy both look so ridiculously beautiful!

That is really sweet!

They just don't seem to make many. I always ask my children's grandparents to buy any black santa's or dolls whenever they see them throughout the year. In our local stores the black dolls sellout the fastest. I always wonder why more aren't stocked. It's really annoying and weird. I'm sure it doesn't help that my MIL

I wish I could thank you a million times for this link! Isn't it a little ridiculous that this uncle couldn't find a black doll for his niece in freaking Nigeria!

Be careful. Is there anyway you can find/hire an escort to help you get to your destination?

Don't ever feel bad about your response to feelings of fear. You can analyze it later once you feel safe and then decide if it was an appropriate response. However, in the heat of the moment natural fear and the desire to protect yourself can help save your life or get you out of potentially unsafe situation.

I see beautiful women all the time where I live. We have several universities so we have lots of beautiful young people working in the mall or just out and about living their beautiful lives. Most of the people I see just have regular jobs but their beauty does give them obvious advantages.

Busy looks fantastic! She has a very unique look. Not sure who Jessica Joffe is but the green looks wonderful with her complexion. Everyone looks nice. Still wouldn't buy this book. If I want to look at random heart images I'll just browse pinterest.

People do this to my Mom often and she eats it up! They are shocked when they learn she is in her late 50's. She looks very young. She loves telling people that she has grandchildren. I never worry about wrinkles or my skin but I do have these terrible dark spots under my eyes.

I've been there. The denial feels good for a while. Just make your list and get started figuring out what you have to give up. We had to give up our retirement/investment contributions among several other things for a few years to afford daycare.

Our daycare is twice the cost of our mortgage and we get the multiple children discount.

I'm wondering if she does this on purpose. She doesn't even try to wear clothes that fit. It's a foreign concept to me for someone to purposely choose the worst outfits. However, she looks fantastic in these shots. That haircut is perfect for her face.

Denise is dealing with a pretty tough situation. She has done well by protecting her children but I'm sure it's still difficult for them to reconcile that their dad is such an abusive man. It's all very sad.

I admire the fact that she still engages with the media. She is criticized for her resting face, her shorts, her dresses...basically for just existing. I just saw a post where some lady criticized Mrs. Obama because she doesn't clap like a dainty lady. Apparently she claps like a big man.

Oh wow, that IS Regie. I just noticed!!!!! LOL

I think most guys only think sexual harassment happens to "bad" girls. Not their sisters and mothers. My own husband still seems surprised when I tell him stories about harassment in college I suffered like being groped and pinned to the wall at parties and physically assaulted by strange men in clubs.
