You can find these with broadly comparable mileage and a clean title for not much more money... and that’s dealer pricing.

NP if seller has documentation of why rebuilt and it was minor issues. That four-cylinder is bulletproof and how often do you get a chance to own an Acura wagon??

WTF is a hoof rat?

You had me right up until “rebuilt title”.   Perhaps irrational, but an automatic ND from me at that point.

An E30 that’s ugly. How about that!

the people who shit on LS swaps are the most insufferable of automotive enthusiasts.

You’d have to search far and wide through the trail parks of Florida to find just the right bath salts deals to sell this thing for this price.

Looks like I can get a Ram SRT-10 with similar mileage for about $27k.  So I’m not sure why I’d ever buy this if I wanted a hot rod Dodge truck.

Today’s car fails on all counts”

So coupled with rare you usually need a few other things to establish a decent market value beyond basic used transportation.

From that angle it’s getting dangerously close to the Oldsmobile and Aurora logos

About 20 years ago I distinctly remember seeing the newly-released Infiniti FX45 on display at my local mall. It looked like the freaking Batmobile and ran on 20" wheels, which were almost unheard of on production cars at the time. Around that time they came out with the G35, which was supposed to be a really good car.

For a brief period in the mid 2000s Infiniti had it. The G35 and M45 were winning comparisons and beating the Germans at their own game. Then they got lazy and completely dropped the ball.

I had a life goal a number of years ago of buying a G37. I finally attained the means to do so and walked into a dealership expecting a luxury car appropriate experience.....only to be treated like I was buying a KIA.

Ultimatelly I did get what I expected...from Carmax.

Nissan/Infiniti has been circling the drain for decades now. Infiniti never quite rivaled Lexus when it came out, and can barely hold a candle to Acura (!).

As a person who deals with “market value opinions” on a daily basis, this car is not worth half what this guy is asking. Maybe in the mid to high $20K?? I’m just gonna leave this listing as evidence that the seller is smoking something seriously strong.

Did this kind of thing exist before Bringatrailer made it popular? I know people have always had near-new survivor cars, but the concept of selling one and getting 3x MSRP on it seems to have really taken off once the online auctions got a hold of them.

This just goes to show that there is a 3.4% chance of mis-clicking a bubble when submitting a poll. This is an undisputable 100% ND submission.

Every neuron of my “former professional German car tech” brain is screaming at me to say no.

Eh, pretty much any 20+ year old car is going to begin to have a lot of problems, so why not look cool as hell and buy this?
