The G-coupes were gorgeous, and good performance/luxury buys. Far as I can tell now all Infiniti offers are a range of boring-ass crossovers and that big-ass SUV that’s about as technologically advanced as a 2010 Tahoe.

They had some equity in the names. G35, M45, FX. Then the marketing geniuses renamed everything Q-somethingorother. Imagine how many meetings, time and effort that took. Another few hundred million set on fire! Hell, I bet most Infiniti owners have trouble remembering what the name is on whatever mediocre turd they…

I shudder to think how many billions were wasted developing that wildly complex variable-compression turbo 4 that isn’t an improvement in any way over the V6, it even gets the same mileage. And if you thought Nissan/Infiniti had reliability issues before, just wait.

The GT-R absolutely should’ve been sold as an Infiniti in the US.
