This car looks best in the dark. As in complete darkness. When you can’t see it.

Changing street names will not do anything to better the lives of anyone. All it will do is confuse the post office. And “local residents” are calling for this?
Show me on the doll where an engine cover touched you
Also can’t imagine anyone’s gonna be popping the hood of an EV. “Hey man, check out the power-inverter on this bad boy!”
So much space under that massive hood you could put an Ecoboost in there and still have enough room to qualify as a frunk
A new F-150 probably dwarfs this thing
We had a ‘76 Country Squire that looked just like this, except it was brown! And it had the power rear window, imagine they all did as my dad never got an optioned-up vehicle. He’d find the stripper on the lot. Ours had bench seat up front, AM radio, crank windows except for that rear gate. Learned to drive in that…
As a car, oh HELL no. ND.
How is this backyard abomination that will likely blow up on the drive home currently sitting on a NP vote while yesterday’s sweet Maverick went down with a 60% ND loss?
Friend in high school in the early ‘80s had a Maverick version. One day she ramped that sucker off a railroad crossing on the way home from school. Caught major air and landed hard with three of us aboard. Kept on running like it was nothing.
Go tailgating on your front bumper. That’s got to be worth it.
As Rob said, you won’t find a Comet/Maverick in such find shape outside of a museum. That interior is fantastic. And three-on-the-tree transmission? Glorious. It’s pricey, but not too pricey. NP
Aren’t all mid-engine cars priced so only the rich can afford them? Did Nissan introduce a mid-engine Versa and I just missed it?
Everyone has a personality. Not all personalities are good. This one is not. ND
Or, and this may sound like a crazy idea, make good financial decisions, save up, pay cash for the thing.
In this case also looks like the customizer also added about 2-feet to the wheelbase
What does an ‘86 Nissan ZX drive like when you add three feet to the wheelbase?
Joan Collins, Eddie Murphy and Telly Savalas?!? Hell yeah I want to be at that party! And I might even pay $26K to join whatever Copacabana-style club where they throw down. But not paying it for this car. ND.
Also this generation of Z convertibles looks MUCH better than the later 350/370 models. NP
“It’s not a twin-turbo manual coupe! No one should ever buy this! ND at any price! ARGLE BARGLE RAR!”
