Buyers who want a manual transmission want to actually drive the car. They pay attention, aren’t trying to text or eat while driving, they don’t want the damn thing braking, steering and paying attention for them. Anti-lock brakes and traction control are all they need. And I want to be able to turn the traction…

I have never seen a Solara convertible driven by anyone other than an older man. Solara coupe? Always a chick car. But the convertibles seem to appeal mainly to 60yo men. Is it a room for golf clubs thing?
