Maybe it was all the assholes I had the displeasure of dealing with today, but this is the dumbest thing I’ve seen in a while. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. The effort and materials used to create this would have been better used creating any number of less idiotic eyesores.

It looks like someone took a Chevy Equinox and beat it with a cyber sledgehammer.

I don’t know how that qualifies as an SUV. The ground clearance is pretty minimal. It’s a fat tall wagon in my opinion. I guess that’s true of most SUV’s these days, but most vehicles described as such have a bit more ground clearance.

So the $4k question, how does it look and compare to a direct view flat panel? I’m interested in one of these as my main viewing area is fairly dim and has room for one.

As I posted above to another comment, here in Oregon the laws have changed to pretty much exactly what you described: only registered owners of a vehicle can sell their cats to legit scrappers. I expect that most of the cats that will likely continue to be stolen here in Oregon will simply move out of state to Idaho, W

Here in Oregon the laws just changed that only the registered owner of a vehicle can sell their cat. It seems likely that there will just be an underground network that moves them out of state. Time will tell.

I’ve got a 75" R617 that has died twice since I bought it, most recently two days ago. The first time it just shut off and then glowing bits of metal fell out from the bottom as smoke wafted out the top. I pulled the thing down off of the wall (with help) and after pulling the back off found the main power supply

You seem like the perfect example of someone that should watch it but won’t, because you should.

My circle of friends are talking about it quite a bit.

That’s a great zinger. Bravo.

I’ve only seen a few with the new/abandoned grill and I liked them. I think Subaru threw away a great opportunity to embrace a new design language to stand out, but that’s not how it went down. Too bad. I can barely tell a modern Subaru from any other bland car these days.

I’m likely too cynical for my own good, but that isn’t snow, it’s frost. It did make a frosty “snowman”, but that doesn’t equal snow. I’m as disappointed as I expected to be.

I expect you’re right.

My guess is it’s filled with the salty crust of Confederate tears.

I don’t recall any overpromising. The data regarding the effectiveness of the mRNA vaccines has been consistent over time. It prevents serious illness in the vast majority of people to the point that almost no one that is fully vaccinated requires hospitalization. That’s in stark contrast to the unvaccinated folks

Thanks, that’s useful info. Now to see if I can get an appointment with my eye Dr.

Same here. Apparently there are contact lenses to treat presbyopia, I’m going to ask my eye Dr. next time I go in for an exam. It’s a good thing my phone has a good camera so I can read small text when I’m away from my reading glasses. Aging sucks.

These drops have me concerned about how they’d affect my night vision.

I may look in to that. My near vision has tanked since I’ve passed 45 and have to wear reading glasses to use my phone and laptop with any acuity. My reading glasses work well, but they’re a pain in the ass and not very comfortable.

Are there any issues a person should know about contacts like yours (aside form
