This gave me an idea for how to doctor balls without having anything on the pitcher. Put some pine tar on the chest protector and have the catch tap the ball on it before throwing it back. Going to keep this idea in my back pocket for when I have kids and I start taking coaching little league way too seriously.

I really dug the first season, despite it being about 5 episodes too long, but somewhere in the second season they lost me and I just kinda stopped watching at some point.

Holy fuck his whole body. But kids’ bodies are made of foam and rubber. He probably didn’t even feel it in the morning. Whereas I barely bang the inside of my knee on a table and I can’t walk straight for a week.

Crean is a pretty objectively bad game manager. He can recruit and develop players but unless he lands another future NBA Hall of fame combo guard then the Sweet 16 is probably IU’s ceiling.

I’d hope with a 3.9 and doing some charity work that they could work something out for him.

Crean is not known for drawing up good plays. Or managing timeouts. Or using his lineup in a way that makes any sense.
