Democrats can’t allow Trump to fill a Supreme Court vacancy during the last year of his presidency.

There is literally nothing to be gained from any amount of cooperation.
It’s important to remember right now that Republicans relentlessly attacked Michelle for the cost of bringing her mother with her to the White House to help with Sasha and Malia.
If it didn’t cost around a million dollars a fucking day I wouldn’t care where she lived... but seriously, our tax money is going to that? And trumpets are just like, yea it’s totes ok.
AND THEN WENDI DENG SHOWED UP LIKE THE ACTUAL MOVIE VILLAINESS THAT SHE IS?
I think Trump is 99% mouthpiece. It’s the other shits I’m worried about
So the town took a philosophical question personally, buried its guilt deep beneath a giant mound of self-righteous indignation, then clutched its pearls and claimed that the real problem is people asking this question.
Trump should not be allowed to nominate a Supreme Court Justice in the last year of his presidency #MicDrop
I know, I remember thinking “I don’t think Trump even understands what a metaphor is...”
I don’t care who he nominated. If his name wasn’t “Merrick Garland” then I expect every Democrat to fight and filibuster as long as they can, as long as it takes. This was our nomination and these shitlords stole it. Anyone who isn’t onboard with that should be primaried at the earliest opportunity.
My friend’s husband (who is in the military) told me (pre inauguration) that the wall was a “metaphor” /:
I smoke weed everyday and am probably an alcoholic, but I am well-informed about politics and celebrity gossip. The point is, we’re all going to die in a mushroom cloud.
It’s so funny to me that, despite all their talk of supporting 45 because he was “different” than other politicians, I think they didn’t actually believe that. Most politicians don’t/can’t follow up effectively on campaign promises (helloooo Gitmo), so they expected this to be like all of those times.
Many times in these forums I said I grew up listening to this asshole. Most New Yorkers think he is an asshole. I think he is too. I wished the rest of middle America felt the same but didn’t. Most of our military come from middle America due to the shitty economic conditions. Thanks for your vote. See you at the…
I realized the other day: Maybe they expected him to be like all the other politicians running for any office... Promise to do a million things & deliver a handful, maybe...
But the question remains, if they didn’t think he was going to actually do any of that, they voted for him because they, what, admired his character?????????? #myfuckingrelatives
Absolutely, I mean the only good thing you can day about Trump is that he IS IN FACT DOING WHAT HE SAID. It may disgust me but he is following through as he absolutely should and thw rest of us need to stop him
This election made me realize that people vote based purely on personality and charisma. They pick the candidate they like, and if that candidate has policy positions they don’t agree with, they either self-rationalize it (“he’s not being literal”) or practice selective hearing (“he hadn’t said anything racist”) or…
Especially since they continued to reflexively vote for GOP candidates who are union busters, take away the rights of workers, and “job creators” who up and leave once they have no more use for them. They can’t say they voted for change AND vote to reelect almost all of the GOP incumbents.
I didn’t expect him to. Not necessarily because he was in any way a decent person but because he has the attention span of a toddler and has a huge history of failing to make good on things. And lies constantly.
