A different approach might be needed to narrow down which movie. Try to figure out which director(s) would say, “You’re right. I am not taking care of everyone else. I’m trying to fluff this person because it’s so unstable.”

We need securefoam.
Especially given the height of vehicles nowadays. Of course, a ped would be hit with the equivalanet of a metal wall instead of sliding up on the hood so the pedestrian air bag might be useless (in this design).
The amount of original movies is nice, especially given the title of this article and the previous “40+ movies to look forward to in 2024" that featured ~35 sequels, prequels, reboots, reimaginings, etc.
I know everyone likes to shit on Lost’s final season, but he was memorable as Dogen, albeit a secondary role for only a few episodes.
No Heartbreakers with Sigourney Weaver and Jennifer Love Hewitt?
I like vanilla chocolate chip, but in nearly five decades of ice cream eating I don’t remember if ever being widely available (even in summer). When I have found it, it was typically at an ice cream shop but it still wasn’t a given to be there even if there were 31+ flavors.
Also, one single director for the season. I think that helped the consistency from episode to episode.
Or could they? Mwah hahaha!!!
I enjoy Tenet, but I think there is one thing that separates it from the rest of Nolan’s (or most directors’) movies. You can watch it and remember the set pieces, characters, interactions, etc., but you can forget the big bad and the endgame. I’ll think about the movie occasionally, and the bomb is like the eighth…
That’s when I knew the streak will probably never end.
On the one hand, Texas makes sense. On the other, I didn’t think it would be that high considering the other ways people die on TX roads because of the amount of rural highways and tollways where high speeds are not just accepted but sometimes legal. And that doesn’t even consider the speeding during heavy urban…
Yeah, I get that. It/He/What he represented was one of her major weaknesses. But when I found out she was just fine being the other woman, I was kind of floored.
the sentient smirk that was Logan Huntzberger
he just isn’t able to land the right “former teenage rebel” note required to believe the backstory.
On Lost, I seem to remember one of the guys (probably Sawyer) actually calling her out at one point for how she’ll get pissed at one guy just to run to the other then vice versa.
You and Bam are spot on in my mind. S1 was so great, I would put it up there with True Detective S1 for best seasons in recent history.
Your write-up on Miley is missing one crucial fact... her performance, from every “exaggerated move” to her outfit to performing like “a rockstar by way of Vegas”, was clearly a Tina Turner tribute.
