I absolutely agree that I’d never run anything lower than manufacturer recommended, just the manuals for my 4.0s say to use 87.

I see your point now though - if I knew it didn’t have a knock sensor and the manual didn’t specify what to use, then I’d agree to play it safe too!

So you're suggesting that my lazy, old, low-compression ratio Jeep 4.0 needs premium gas?

Thanks! It’s my niece that we take camping, thankfully her bike fits easily in the trunk for now. I’m trying to figure out something similar - I’ve seen hitches mounted to the pop-up and they seem like a good solution.
Also thinking about something roof-mounted on either the car or the trailer but we’ll see!

That pop-up looks great. We recently bought a Flagstaff too and love it, although it’s a bit smaller than yours.
EDIT: I’ve tried adding photos but I’m being Kinja’d. Here’s a link! https://photos.app.goo.gl/Z5NJ6Cyb9hrj8ZMB7

My longest commute was 25 miles, which I did for about a year.
That might not sound so bad but on average it took me 1 hour 15 minutes each way, sat mostly in traffic. If there was the smallest problem on the roads it could easily jump to 2 hours.

If that’s not bad enough, I should point out that I did this every day

My favorite thing was in my Dad’s old 2003 VW Golf.
The crush sensor in one of the rear windows had lost calibration, so every time it fully closed it thought something was trapped, causing it to automatically fully open again.
The only way around it was to slowly inch that window closed, almost like you were sneaking

People love to hate on Chrysler, but the plasticky interiors of my ‘90s Jeeps also look like new when they’re clean. People can never believe how old/nice my cars are.
Much newer “luxury” cars always feel so beat up so quickly inside to me.

I appreciate that the Jag does naturally have a different sound to the BMW, but the pops and crackles are what everybody seems to go mad about and that’s what I’m referring to.
I also don’t like how the M4 sounds, but I think we were talking about the BMW V8s here, not the I6.

I used “artificial” for lack of a better

But isn’t that noise all programmed into the engine tuning in the Jag? I’m pretty sure it’s mostly “artificial”.

Yeah me too, I love that it came from the factory that way and isn’t messed about with!

Ohh I’d love an LJ one day. Unfortunately I’d have to import one as we never had them here in the UK.

Have you never come across Goldie Lookin Chain!?

I’d agree with that!

Yeah, I moved to Nottingham from Cornwall. It was quite a shock - I lasted 6 months before moving to rural Derbyshire.

Have you ever been to Nottingham? That place is full of these monstrosities, usually in matte grey and swerving through traffic.

“I vote for poopé, but I bet you can come up with something better.”

Nope. I really don’t think it’s possible to top that. I’m totally going to start using it!

Yes, I’d say that logic is correct. If there are people offended by things about Henry Ford, his cars are probably not universally agreeable. That’s kind of the point.

Yes, it’s just a car. The trouble is that others may not see it that way. Ergo it’s not universally agreeable.

That's not the one Hoovie now has, is it?
