As a crew member for an Outlaw Late Model car (and occasional spotter) I can assure you that while 0.3% too biased to the left will give a driver a small advantage (in the hundredths of a second) - It definitely would not be the reason a driver would climb 31 positions in 300 laps to win.

The magnetic livery is absolutely horrible for the paint. Want proof? Go walk through a parking lot and lift up one of those pink breast cancer magnets and see what happens when you have a material in direct contact with the paint surface that isn’t securely anchored. I’ve had to fix paint so many…
