I would encourage you to learn more about what Libertarians actually stand for and believe. The basis of all laws should be “do no harm” and nothing else.

Congratulations, you’re a Libertarian. The import law is set up to protect Auto Corporations from people choosing to purchase elsewhere, which is backwards of a free market scenario where the people would be protected from being forced to purchase from a restricted pool.

Conservative leaning Libertarian here. I 100% support this. Nobody has the right to drive an unsafe car that endangers the public. Freedom of movement doesn’t mean you are entitled to drive a rolling wreck.

Former airline worker. This 100% comes down to the fact that the consumer shops based solely on price. Nothing more, nothing less. Thus, consumer buying patterns are telling the industry they want things to be worse. The more people that buy terrible flights, the more airlines that are going to offer terrible flights.

I know the guy that built this. Its style is a very unique one to be sure, but I have no doubt in my mind this car is worth the asking price - the quality of his work is top notch.

Basically, they designed the intake and exhaust manifolds as a 12 year old would for maximum aesthetic appeal, rather than for optimal flow and performance. Air doesn’t like going around sharp corners.
