October surprise, or October hoax?

Now that I’ve slept on this, I have mixed feelings. Overall, I’m doing the schadenfreudiest dance I’ve ever fucking done, but I have some thoughts.

But also, maybe people will finally take this epidemic seriously. If Donald Trump has to get sick and die for his supporters to start wearing their fucking masks when in public, it’s a sacrifice worth making.

Putin’s leverage is that him and his crew will ‘forgive’ the millions they gave him so that even when the roof falls in, he’ll have -something-. That’s it.

FRAUD. ISN’T. LEGAL. That’s why it’s called fraud! I’ve seen doubling down on bad decision but damn.

Republicans are already compartmentalizing Trump’s tax fraud. They are saying, “Well he did it legally.” What part of a $70k haircut deduction is legal? How can you pay an employee (Ivanka) a “consultation fee” and consider this legal (Similar actions have been prosecuted.) Their ability to deceive themselves is scary.…
