Exactly. All you really have to do to avoid the label “racist” is keep your mouth shut. At the very basic, lowest level, just shut your mouth. And yet, that’s too high a bar for Kobach to clear.

I remember the quote, and understood exactly what you meant. At this point, Trump has no supporters left that aren’t racists. Period. The Venn diagram between Trump’s bedrock supporters and racists is a perfect circle. 

It’s tough to find the theoretical non-racist Trump voters though, because they hide, much like Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster. They have a tiny bit of shame and stay in deep cover. Now the racists are perfectly happy to admit their support.
