I still look at Katherine Legge’s champcar crash at Road America to be one of the worst looking crashes for the driver to walk away. Absolute massive impact, yet she still kept a smile.

4th Gear: Just wanted to say I love the reference. Played this masterpiece of a remix this morning to get through rush hour..
You know, the Mini competition comment is hilarious because it really hits home. Here in Louisville there was a FIAT / Alfa Romeo dealer built directly across the street from Mini of Louisville... Needless to say, it is no longer there.
Start on tarmac using motorcycles, transition to speed boats, then a final dash across the desert in trophy trucks.
Absolutely! This McLaren M8F is a perfect example.
I completely agree. The camera shots were in great positions, but they were far too short in duration. The way i see it though, at least the audio was one continuous recording. It is an absolute pet peeve of mine when an on-board shot contains a million different camera angles and switches the audio with every shot.
Putting decibels aside, I think you’d be hard pressed to find another 8-cylinder engine not powered by nitro-methane that can top the Porsche 908/3. The noise of this engine is simply staggering...
My last girlfriend had a teal Cavalier, and my God was it a shitbox..
Now we’re talking...
Exactly. To me a very useful stat would be a percentage of average total repair costs / average sale price of the car. That would give a clear indication of how much people are willing to budget into said repairs, yet covers every demographic equally.
I don’t think it’s the camera. I believe since the 2009 season the front track has been wider than the rear. It looks unorthodox, but having the wider front is fairly common as it allows the tires to experience a less severe weight transfer while cornering. Also, the more narrow rear track helps to improve traction…
I know it’s technically a boxer and not a 180degree V8, but I couldn’t resist putting the Porsche 908/3 up here.. The sound of this flat-8 beast is simply incredible.
Sounds like a trolling masterpiece to me.. I hope.
That it is, and thanks to RACER, here it is at full tilt. Wonderful machine...
I dont know, maybe referencing the ~500cc per dorito?
