Werner Herzog is just going to spend his retirement bouncing between Disney projects and berating their directors, like: “Goofy is too pure for you fools!”, “Rocket Raccoon is a truth that none of you can face!!”, “You pigs have no faith in Fozzy Bear!!!”.

What, Werner Herzog?

This was great, a huge improvement from the disappointing first episode.  They really should have combined the two eps into a single pilot episode.  I’ve a much clearer sense of where this show is going, and how our hero will operate in this galaxy.

“It was so young, so full of potential, so full of life. So foolish! I could not let this stand! Still, I would hate myself for telling it that the future, like the past, is built of lies, if I was not filled with loathing for myself already. I can’t wait to purchase its action figure.

I would think the moral of that story is, don’t attack Madalorian bounty hunters, shit’s bad for your health. As for the beast? It was an attacking creature, driven by instinct, words and reasoning certainly won’t stop it.

The takes I’ve seen in this comment thread so far are, in my opinion, pretty seriously misguided. The casual murder fits in with the Mandalorian’s character as a bounty hunter: ruthless, violent in his problem-solving. It suggests a bit more of galaxy-wide racism (seeing Jawas as disposable pests moreso than living

The liking method of payment in this game is so fascinating to me because it’s not a form of currency in the sense that you can’t purchase useful items with like, yet I still somehow feel rewarded and happy every time I receive them from NPC’s and players alike. There is an explanation that’s given in one of the

I seem to recall that he was responsible for kicking off Jimmy Fallon’s lip-sync contests.

So what he’s saying is...Clint Eastwood...made his day?

I’m just disappointed that they’ve entirely moved away from the handdrawn 2D animation from the prior two films. Regardless of how you feel about the quality of either of those films, they at least looked gorgeous. The second one especially being a breath of fresh air in this CGI dominated market

The first three seasons of Spongebob are honestly some of the greatest comedy ever made. The sheer amount of amazing jokes and sight gags is incredible. I think there’s almost 150 ten minute shorts and there are very few, if any, duds within that bunch. On par with Looney Tunes and The Simpsons in their prime.

Honestly, I’d be satisfied with the offending individual owning their actions (and not with some bullshit “I’m sorry to those I offended” fake apology—a true, honest, remorseful acceptance of accountability) and then actively seeking help for them.

No one is perfect, but there are lines that—once crossed—require

Ah, but therein will lie his salvation—he’ll only be criticized by “filthy casuals!”

...nevermind that folks who’ve been playing his works since the MSX days will suddenly become “casuals” if they fail to appreciate his heartbreaking works of staggering genius (with all apologies to Dave Eggers).

It’s gonna be interesting when Kojima makes an actual movie and the casual audience who has never heard his name before gives him mixed reviews.

“So who shoots first? You shoot first? I shoot first?”

Vader: "Mcklunkeeeeeeee!"

Toxic fans come from all walks of life and from every frequency of the political spectrum. Toxic R&M fans probably are more on the gamer gatey end of things. Other shows, like Steven Universe/Voltron/etc. find their toxic fans more on the Tumblr/Jezebel axis.

Gamergate fans ARE exactly those kinds of fans. There’s a huge amount of continuity between the rhetoric, social media strategies and personalities that participated in Gamergate and right wing cultural politics in general. It’s all tied together by a common sentiment that media used to be apolitical at some more

Fascist Morty had nothing to do with Gamergate. Also, by the way, 2015 called and they’d like their socially relevant boogeyman back.
