R.I.P BMW, you’ll be missed.
As 1m owner, this thing is HEAVY! Plus no manual and looks questionable...
“OK, almost everything — you can’t get a stick anymore. That part really sucks.”
There are only just so many ways you can bend sheet metal. Sure, from some angles it might vaguely resemble certain lines of VW’s car, from other angles it looks vaguely like a Chrysler Airflow. It looks about as much like a VW Beetle (or New Beetle) as all of the compact crossovers look like each other.
You mean the Tata (Indian) owned JLR?
I misread Mach E as Mach 1, but yes you’re right. Mach E doesn’t sit well with me.
I gotta ask, why/how was a 2009 CRV on it’s last legs?
The Kia Forte GT makes a strong value proposition. With its 201 horsepower turbocharged engine, choice of six-speed manual or seven-speed DCT, it’s hard to ignore.
I think you are on the right track that what Acura and Honda are now have as much influence on this as the car itself does.
The Integra GS-R is a two-door sporty, heavily modified Civic.
That’s fair, but at the same time I feel like that’s similar to being mad at Chevy if they brought back the Impala next year without an ‘SS’ package. Like, sure, that was the main appeal of the car, but it doesn’t detract from the fact that 90% of them were just family saloons. I think Integra is still a good name…
I don’t need to dump on the crosstour the public spoke for themselves on that one:
Ditto. I hate it because its ugly as hell and less practical than a proper wagon.
I don’t mind the profile. I think the Acura looks fine, and some other vehicles with similar profiles. The ass end of the Crosstour is what makes it ugly AF.
That doesn’t even make sense. The original Integra was always a fancy Civic from Japan. New one, close enough. The original Supra was Toyota’s flagship engine in a Europe-beating grand tourer package. Now it’s just European.
don’t worry, Toyota still makes a Soarer
My 88 Integra was a pretty boring and slow 4 door car with decent handling. The only excitement was that it was a 5spd manual and I once coaxed it up to nearly 120 on a loooong downhill in New Mexico with three sleeping passengers.
Nah, the profile is bad regardless of ride height. People also shat on the BMW GTs.
Certified “Internet Car Guy” checking in. I dump on the Crosstour because it’s ugly.
