And thus was created the hairpin turn.

The Evo has traditionally had a version like this too for exactly the reason you mentioned - they get turned into race cars and they’re not gonna bother selling you stuff you’d immediately remove anyways. Pretty cool idea and makes a lot of sense.
Why can’t GM, Ford and Chrysler build bare-bones cars like this for hundreds, or thousands, of grassroots enthusiasts to enjoy?
The A/C seems to be still in the car. Japanese marketing stuff also confirmed this.
*$21,000
I think I’d rather have the three grand, and I’d even sell those stock steelies to bump my savings up even further.
Can we talk about how nice those steelies look?!
You’ve got it! The second lightest car on the market, and in it’s lowest grade, power windows aren’t even an option!! All hail the mighty 쉐보레 스파크, (Chevrolet Spark); the most slept on, practically-KDM almost-Kei car we get in the US!
Active Sound Control in these cars is actually handled by a dedicated speaker underneath the dashboard, not through the regular audio. I wonder if the system has been deleted entirely or if the software was simply switched off.
Heads and exhaust manifolds are interchangeable.
It is, but I still not as good as an Accord backseat. But I guess if they did that the rear cargo space would be close to nil. And sadly, cargo space not as much as my 2006 SAAB 9-5 wagon. Modern cars seem to be a little more tight on the inside, with all that pesky safety structure.
For the JL, I would have entertained sliding barn doors, one on either side of (and behind) the grill. If done right, they would be totally invisible and simply make the slots narrower or wider depending on need.
It was a question, not a proposal.
The ultrawealthy don’t cash out stocks to get liquidity. They -borrow- against it:
Yes, they are considered ‘unrealized’ gains, but they are allowed to take out very real loans against these stocks and then take the interest from these loans as a loss to their income. They are literally having it both ways.
I mean if 10 million middle class people gave $100, that could also pay the $6 billion tab.
I think you are both right. Is the US Military budget out of control and misappropriated, you betcha. The dark money that is completely unaccounted for is unacceptable and should be absolutely rangeled in.
Now I can’t speak for Bezos (whom I am NOT fond of) but be careful when lumping Musk in with the other avaraicious billionaires.
Further to the fact that it isn’t liquid is also an important point because if he actually did liquidate some of his holdings it would help spread wealth. Someone would buy those shares, or bonds, or whatever.
Put another way, the US could do the same by allocating less than 1% of it’s defense budget.
