The lesson is, in part, do jobs that have excessive giveaways in the tax code. :) About 15 months ago i moved to teh sticks where everyone is, seemingly, a tradesman or distributor of some sort and damn near every driveway has a SD/HD for a daily, some sort of work vehicle, and a 5th wheel, sidebyside, etc.

When I sold GMC’s (2019) we actually had a lot of customers coming from Chevy just because the refreshed Silverados were so ugly. I genuinely sold over a dozen trucks to people who said they wouldn’t be seen in the Silverado.

Makes me wonder if they just cannibalized the allotted Silverado chips for the Sierra, as there is probably a higher profit margin on the Sierras.

Yeah good point, Michigan is often called midwest, hence my regurgitation as such. But it’s really more unique as a great-lakes kind of place. Sure, we still grow lots of corn and soybeans, but we also have extensive sand dunes, thousands of lakes, and many millions of acres of state/national forests.

The power issue can be remedied through tuning as it was on the 10g Si, if one is willing to forego a warranty.
