Actually you answered your own question. Tires are one of the most important features on any car. When you swapped the tires out on your Toyobaru and saw massive gains you proved just how important they really are.

I really don’t care for Tesla cars but they way Robb presented that article makes me hope Tesla does it right and creams Porsche and makes him eat his words. I still loved my 996 and look forward to another 911 in my garage again soon though.

Neutral: Unions need a little competition - as in split them up like we’ve done with other monopolies - make them earn/prove their worth.

This doesn’t surprise me one bit. Land Rover are no longer in the business of making tough work vehicles with the highest capabilities. Now they just want to sell premium SUVs to soccor moms.

I live in a state where people just voted in a gas tax and the government spends it on what they call road diets to take away drive lanes, and high speed rail, and metro lines nobody uses.

I like the overall proportions and lines of the production version more, but the DC100 did the pillars waaaaay better. The new Defender is terrible in that regard.

The model 3 performance can hang with an M3.

Get a Tesla.

They can try to explain it away but an extra 166 miles of range is what the consumer really wants.  After 7 years it’s pretty clear that Tesla makes a reasonably safe vehicle as long as you don’t turn on autopilot and then fall asleep.

They used the same driver for both cars. Get a better driver and you’ll get better times for both cars, but are unlikely to change the ranking.
