I don’t understand why a calculator would make these noises, but also apparently be otherwise unresponsive to button pushes (the screen never changes?). Seems like, other than doing videos like this, the calculator has no actual function?

Wait, the story is about a guy who ditched her to go to another band because he thought they’d be more popular. And the happy ending is that he somehow worked his way back into her band just in time for them to actually be the popular band? 

I can’t remember liking much about it, but do remember finding the ending really dumb, where the resolution was to fly one of the mechas into the atmosphere and then crash it into the monster. Like after all that, to kill the monster all you really needed was a big rocket? You didn’t need the mechs stuff at all?
