Young Shelby White gets frustrated knowing that even though SHE’S the best soccer player AND teen journalist in the school, none of the guys take her seriously. Until she re-enrolls at the school as her cousin Sheldon White; and discovers a grisly secret on the boys soccer team.

If you look closely they’re all not great (don’t get me wrong though, I do think it’s fun video). Someone more expert in the field would probably know, but is this really considered “deep fake”? I thought deep fake meant overlaying/replacing the actors entire face and expressions. This is really just doing the

Well...at least I got the franchise right?

Depending on how well this movie and her character is received, I think the idea/hope is Lashana Lynch might be able to spin off into her own Bond franchise from this.

I agree, everyone is crazy, this looks like a blast!

I love Moon and Source Code.

Surprised no mention of Hulu’s The First or Apple’s Mars series. Can’t believe somehow Amazon Prime is the only streamer to not have an astronaut series, given Bezos and Blue Origin (though I guess The Expanse kind of counts).

and couldn’t tell you what any of their names are”

Edit - deleting, feel like plot-centric questions might be too spoilery at this point in the film’s release

I can’t speak to what the OP meant, but for me the the original Ape films don’t even come to mind, I find Reeves films inferior to the film they’re a sequel of (since these are the only films Reeves has done as sequels, I’m guessing that’s what the OP meant as well). Rise has its flaws, a good dose of convenient

It’s kind of what fans have been asking for ever since Se7en came out, yet, really hard for me to approach it with anything but cynicism. Maybe the finished project will win me over though. Casting is top notch, so I’ll let my cautious optimism start there.

everything I’ve seen from Reeves has been inferior to the film it was a remake of or a sequel to. I guess that generalization would have a more ambiguous application here.”

We have a guy in my state who has literally made a career out of creating propositions that go nowhere (Tim Eyman). His fundraising model is to basically just make stuff people like the sound of so he can fundraise around it, and then use the funds to line his own pockets. He’s been found guilty (several times!) of

Agree, love Speed Racer, and I know I’m alone in this, but I also dig the heck out of Jupiter Ascending.

Jada Pinkett-Smith is also back.

If COVID hadn’t happened, the movie would be in theaters, so no matter what the scenario is, you wouldn’t be watching the movie as part of your Disney+ at this point in time. If $30 seems excessive, by this time next year I’m sure the movie will have made its way to the regular Disney+ lineup just like it would have

Does Nickelodeon have animation rights or something? Not that I find the decision totally off base, but it does seem odd that a show that’s success has been in animated form, that had a well received animated sequel series, and a networks decision would be...lets remake what people have already seen in live action

Well, the headline of the article says its a Death Cab for Cutie song, and they included an image of Death Cab’s Ben Gibbard in the article teaser, so if you’re still wondering at that point if the linked video is a Death Cab for Cutie song I don’t know how else to explain it to you.

Its all about the clicks baby!

I’ve never been a fan of U2 but wholeheartedly loved every bit of that “season,” and even ended up coming to actually be engaged by some of U2s music because of the podcast.
