As others have mentioned, the article is kind of a say nothing piece, so its hard to really make heads or tails of it.

Ha! Point taken, though I did mean smooth more like they look slick and sharply dressed.
Lol at needing several hours or multiple days.
The Brinkley story reached a weird apex in 2017, with there being two movies in development on it (one with Matt Damon attached, the other with Robert Downey Jr and Richard Linklater) - both based on different source material that had come out that same year (the former a book, Charlatan, and the latter an episode of…
So admittedly, I only half watched it while doing other things. But I’ll say, B is probably where I’d put it too. I’m a sucker for monkeys, so the 2nd episode monkey stuff worked for me. The show never really quite approached that level of absurdity again though. I 100% missed some basic plot points (why is his wife…
Nothing against the new crew, but if you put those two casts side by side and asked me which crew I want to remake my life, I wouldn’t even hesitate it’d be the OG cast. Those guys are looking dapper and smooth.
Easy way to earn some good will for the sequel, cast Middleditch as Tails.
I’m more confused as to why they used someone in old man make up? How much money did it add to the commercial to do that instead of just casting an older person?
Release the JK Simmons cut! The picture of him bulking up in the gym is practically a meme, can’t believe he did all that for the 2 minutes of screen time he ended up with.
I’ve never listened to an audible audiobook. How are they produced? Just kind of standard read alongs? Or is it more produced than that (scored, sound design, etc?)
Yep that’s what I was thinking of, thank you! (Googling man plays penis was getting me nowhere)
So this is weird, cause I’ve never heard of this show. But I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it? Or maybe this guy did a YouTube version of it years ago? I just very much remember seeing a show or clip of something where the premise was a guys penis manifesting into a real person.
Somebody didn’t watch until the end.
My only nitpick in something that was just a nice effort and doesn’t need to in any way be nitpicked, is I didn’t really buy into the need for the big finale to cheer up Leslie. I get wanting to go out on the but all-in effort, but Leslie’s her big crisis was she wasn’t getting to talk to everyone enough?
Agreed, obviously competing with home theaters is a competition that theaters ultimately will lose, and I don’t know how viable one off performance events are for theaters (especially multiplexes), and I do get a kick out of theaters stretching out what they show. Watching the Super Bowl and the Breaking Bad finale…
I always found the film a bit problematic in that, from the instant ScarJo is introduced, there is no doubt that she is a self-aware, conscious being, and a large part of that is due to Scarlett’s unique, inviting voice. There’s never any ambiguity about her being a piece of software or a tool, she is just straight…
I remember that nutrigrain ad from back in the day! I shared it on many a message board in that pre-YouTube era (it wasn’t a real ad btw, just a gag, if you google turnpike films you’ll find some more of their gag ads).
I think the curse is more that there seems to be very few ideas on how to make action movie outside of the superhero genre. So someone like Hemsworth, who clearly is an action star, gets relegated to generic stuff like this, or comedy.
I always wondered if the Nolan line “I’m not wearing hockey pads” was a shot at this script (where their Batman is wearing spray painted hockey pads).
Why did no one tell Kirkham he was wearing his AirPod upside down?!?
