I have a pair of the non-bluetooth Edifiers hooked up to a Chromecast Audio in our family room. They’re pretty fantastic speakers for the $80 I paid.

A tale of warning to keep noobs from from ineffective dosing?
Yeah probably.
I remember the word among my drug clique as a youth was never smoke mushrooms or the spores would imbed in your lungs, grow mushrooms, and suffocate you.
Sorry. Should have said weasel decision. If they can’t decide how long he should be banned for they’re fucking morons.
Nope. Indefinite generally means there is “no end planned” but doesn’t mean there won’t be an end. It’s intentional ambiguous.
“indefinite” - fucking weasel word.
Doesn’t the YouTube TV sub get you most of this Discovery + content/channels? Discovery+ actually makes a lot of sense to me (although I won’t likely sub since none of the content that interests me isn’t available through my other subs) because it packages a bunch of cable channels into a monthly sub. It’s the closest…
Edge is great. I love the collections feature (especially since it rolled out on mobile).
With Apple supposedly investing in MicroLED, I can definitely see it becoming competitive relatively quickly.
I think it might be a bit for than a year or two. It will be interesting to see how Micro LED impacts the market. Especially since it seems like Apple is interested/invested, which could really push the market to refine the fabrication and undercut OLED on price.
Yeah. I intentionally went super cheap on a 70" TV for the Atmos home theater I just installed in the basement with the thought that I can hopefully switch it out for OLED in about 5 years.
Given what I’ve seen of other cutting edge TVs, $20K seems downright reasonable for a 77" OLED 8K TV. It gives me hope that we might see $1K 70" OLED 4K TVs in 5 years.
Yep. My NY Resolution is to watch 221 movies in 2021, and in filling out a watch list I’m amazed at how much content is in HBO Max. Especially the classics.
This was my favorite. I never knew how much better my parenting would be once I stopped burning my son with ramen.
I’ve only played a little of Celeste, but experienced no lag issues. I’ve played a ton of Steamworld Dig and Steamworld Dig 2 which have similar need for precision input. Every once in a while there will be some delayed inputs, but it usually goes away quickly.

I’m definitely stoked. The wife has even bought in and is excited. It’s going to be modest as far as systems like this goes, but It’s a good “pandemic winter” project and should be fun for family movie nights. Hoping to have it up and running by the new year. I built a decent 5.1 system 20+ years ago in HS but man has…

Timely. This weekend I’m hanging drywall on the ceiling of a 18x13 room in my basement that I’m refinishing for a media room with at 5.1.4 atmos theater. Fury Road is definitely atop my list for viewing. Hearing about the 4K transfer on the Matrix has now put that near the top on the list.

Celeste is on Stadia right now. Played it last night for a bit. It was fun.
