Man, Timex should have bought/partnered with Pebble. I would have loved some Timex designs with Pebble software.

Take a look at the Garmin Vivoactive 4s. I replaced my Pebbles with Garmins, and have found that they compare favorably.

Thank you for your service, @SweetDaddy69

You sir, are a master debater. I concede the point.

    Concept

    I hate this. YKS.

It’s fancy pants tator tot hot dish!

I don’t use iPhone so I haven’t kept up with Siri/Homekit, but it seems like Apple is really missing the boat. I feel like Alexa and Google Home/Assistant have developed and improved significantly over the past 2-3 years, but I never hear anything about Apple. Anyone using Apple for smart home stuff? Is it any good?

I’m not usually into the slow pensive covers of pop songs signalingprestige TV,” but I kind of like the subtlety of it.

    Is that Mötley Crüe?

Just got an update on my Connect mobile app that includes the speed heat map on the tracks, so that’s nice.

I’m unable to break 42 on my Garmin as measured through my walking activities despite rigorously biking 1600 miles over the past 6 months. Any idea if there is a ceiling to measuring VOmax on low effort walking exercises?

I think it just started yesterday. At least that’s when I started getting it, and I had to refresh some old activities to get it to show. I go to the web page quite a bit because it offers a bunch of things that aren’t available in the app, and I feel like the design is light-years ahead of the app.

Yeah. I actually replaced my 20 year old hard tail MTB for a touring/gravel bike in May (which has definitely helped me increase my mileage). I think I beat the rush to buy bikes a bit, but also bought my wife a new bike in June. At that point the stock was very limited. Interesting, I just also bought my son a bike

Any Garmin users out there notice a recent update to the Connect web page that now shows speed “heat maps” for running/walking/biking tracks? I’m not sure if this was added because of a recent update to my Vivoactive 4s, or if it was some sort of back end update. The mobile app still has the old solid red tracks

Yeah. I’m also biking a ton this summer (about 2x the miles I did last summer). Working from home has actually made it easier (lunchtime bike rides!), and the hour/day focused on peddling has been critical to my mental health.

I rather like the accuweather redesign.

Nice to see some movement on reflective displays. I dream of a future with no glowing displays.

I don’t really get this phone. I do sorta like the Surface Duo because it’s split screen. I rarely watch video on my phone, but I’m often trying to multitask so the split screen would be nice.

I much prefer the Surface Duo.
