I really like the idea, but I think they’d be better off making it a proper e-reader (or even going full Android like the Onyx Boox).

I installed a bunch of Caseta dimmers/plugs about 20 months ago and some more few months back (including changing out some old Xeon under cabinets to LED so they would work with dimmers). I have 38 devices (15 dimmers, 4 plugs, 1 switch, and 18 remotes) controlling about 65 lights (mix of canned, lamps, fixtures,

Oh hell yeah I did. I can still feel/hear the blade shave the ice as I turned the crank. That kind of toy was right in my wheelhouse. I loved to help with cooking, and anything else that involved tactile interactions to create, destroy, or change materials. Turning ice cubes into crushed ice, and then topping it with

    LOOOOOVED my Snoopy Sno Cone.

I do a lot of inking on my surface pro 6 and it works pretty well. PDFs work fine, but Word is actually really good for doing pen annotation now, so if you can do word/text docs I’d highly recommend the SP.

I’ve wanted one of these pretty bad. I loved my rooted Nook that ran something like Android 2.2.

Got a good deal on the Nest Wifi last week at Costco ($299 for router + 3 points). It’s such a big improvement.

Saw an ad on Hulu for the Quibi show with Kieffer Sutherland. It looked horrible.

Costco is running a great deal on Nest Wifi right now. $299 for a 4 pack.

Yeah. I just pre-ordered. They’re also giving me $163 for my Pixel 3. I’m actually looking forward to having a cheaper more plasticy phone.

Same here. Switched soon after the Chromium version was released. It just runs sooooo much better, and it seems like the battery life on my Surface damn near doubled.

Yeah, I get it. That said, if I’m taking the analogy overly literally I’m not so sure I’d prefer my pants getting peed on versus my bare leg. Suppose it depends on what pants I’m wearing.

I’ve never thought this is the best analogy because the a-holes who won’t wear a mask are exactly the people who’d rather piss on someone else than get their own pants wet.

I love the collapsible zoom. I’ve wanted Sony to do this for years.

    Yep.

Hey! Me too. I don’t use it much for the daily/weekly forecasts, so I’m not sure how accurate they are. I’ve been impressed with the MinuteCast compared to DarkSky. I’ve not used the Wunderground app in a long time, but i recall it being pretty poor. Which is too bad considering they are usually great forecasts. I

IDK. Their MinuteCast has been as good or better than DarkSky where I live (in the upper midwest).

I’ve been running the beta since launch, and I generally like it. The MinuteCast is excellent. I think the knocks the app gets in the reviews are pretty spot on. I’ve not had too many crashes, but the app gets choppy every once in awhile. I hope that’s fixed in final release. My biggest issue with the app are the notif

Only one way to find out. Do it, and report back if you’re still alive.

    Now playing

Also give some love to Return of the Living Dead II. It’s bad, but has one of the best zombies of all time:
