I think companies really need to get out of the habit on firing people because the internet demands a sacrifice. It only encourages people to continue using toxic behaviors to push their agendas.

The idea of putting money in Whoopi’s pocket makes me a little twitchy considering some of the things she’s said on The View in the last few years, but this sounds great.

As glad as I am that Lewandowski is getting charged, the continued inability of Trump’s followers to admit that a member of his cult of personality did wrong is just disheartening.

It’s kind of funny that things have swung from a standard response of, “The drugs made him do it! Reefer madness!” to “Well, I took that drug once/twice/20 times and it had no negative effects on me, therefore it is always harmless and all drugs are good except the ones I haven’t taken personally.”

I wonder whether it might not have been adulterated somehow? And/or whether he was on other medications/psychotropics that may have combined badly?

One of things I hope for most dearly is that the death penalty will be abolished in my lifetime. Not the feckless, useless, piecemeal state by state abolition, but the federal government actually stepping up and saying no more. I hate this shit. It’s WRONG.
