Biggest laugh for me was the smash cut to Heather/Hector’s courtroom marriage. It was the perfect Heather way to get married the same way Ron Swanson’s spontaneous 4th floor marriage occurred on Parks and Rec (and in another P&R parallel, reminds me of Andy and April in that it both makes no sense and complete sense

One of my favorite running Halloween episode gags in this series is Louise’s costumes being based on movies she’s way too young to understand or have seen, my favorite still probably being basing her Ryan Gosling driver costume off the trailer for Drive.

I’d imagine it was more difficult to write something comedic about Rebecca’s current state of mind. The previous seasons had more dramatic themes to work with:

I’m surprised how indifferent I am to this news. Both Luke Cage seasons had plenty of highs and lows, and I’m struggling to remember the villain of Season 2 even though it’s only been a few months. But one thing I can say about Luke Cage that I can’t say about Iron Fist is that Luke is an very likeable main character.

It’s funny that there was an episode titled “Josh Is Irrelevant”, because in that moment he became irrelevant in Rebecca’s life, he also largely lost his purpose in the show. And Valencia was practically a background character in Season 3. It feels like Josh has learned the “I need to mature” lesson multiple times and

Seems to be the plan after he showed up in Luke Cage S2. Which I’m cool with, because he was a highlight of both that season and The Defenders, despite being insufferable in his own show. Hell, I still haven’t bothered finishing Iron Fist S2 a month later.

Four friends walk into a game of Mario Party.

The last few episodes definitely felt like they were rushing to move pieces together (though I’m glad the time skip happened, since Heather’s pregnancy was probably my least favorite part of the season). It’s also why I’m glad they get a longer episode order this season.

I realize that (same thing happens to Fox’s other animated series), but the Season 8 premiere was 7ASA14, so to have the previous episode of the production run air over a full year later is weird even by Bob’s Burgers standards.

Any reason this episode was held over for so long? It’s 7ASA13, so it’s from the mid-Season 7 production run.

My least favorite episode of the series is probably still “Leap to Faith” (though Mindy St. Claire finally got her cocaine in that episode, so it’s still pretty great), but even though I’ve been waiting for Trevor’s return for two years, I feel this wasn’t the right opportunity to use him. It felt like a throwaway

The “There is no Good Place” theory has definitely crossed my mind before, but it would also contradict the point of the judge, the Medium Place (where a mostly terrible person ended up), etc. Yeah, that could all be a ruse, but we already had the big ruse.

My first comment on this article was going to be asking for this list. +5 good person score points for you.

I feel the same way. I’ve been watching them out of obligation for a while now, but even with a shortened 10-episode order (a great move that should have been done ever since Daredevil S1, and I hope it stays that way), I’m not sad I have other plans this weekend. Plus, with BoJack next week, Iron Fist S2 has dropped

Yeah, I love Broad City but I’m not sure I’ve heard anyone talk about it in person.

I am unfamiliar with the community, but dating life in LA introduces you to a frightening number of people with Disneyland tattoos. Am I right to always consider those massive red flags?

I had nothing against Drake or his fans until I attended a music festival he was playing. Not only was Drake’s performance awful, but his fans were insanely rude to the other superior acts playing before him - sitting down up front, shoving fans of those other acts (my friend got sent to the emergency tent), and

As a big fan of both Mario AND Radiohead, the Radiohead fan community is both still pretty active and can be snobby at times. But there’s also little in-fighting and drama. As far as musicians with irritating fans go, they’re much lower on the list than the Lana Del Reys and the Bassnectars of the world.

For as insanely popular as the Super Mario Bros. series is, does it actually have a large and talkative fan community? I regularly see dedicated followings, heated debates, and perverted fanart for Sonic, Zelda, and many other mascot franchises that don’t sell as well as Mario, but I never see them for Mario.

Season 2 will be the real test for this show. Not only is it when Matt Groening shows typically find their groove, but they set up so much for it here that they can really make the most of the serialized format. A lot of this season, the show felt like it didn’t know what it wanted to be. Futurama was about a package
