I would tell you to watch Happy Endings, but you seem like the type of person who does not deserve to enjoy good, funny things.

I was pleasantly surprised by it considering what they did at the end of Captain Marvel, where her introduction to the Avengers was completely different than the one we got in Endgame.
Chicken McNuggets, no—despite them meeting her criteria for being neither squirrel nor possum
This was the first season of this show that felt a little off to me. Certainly not without its moments (“Pride Parade” is an instant classic), was ambitious overall, and this was a sweet and almost-too-tidy sendoff, but I’d love for the show to lighten back up a bit and give us dumb shit like “the vampires get too…
I want Claire to marry the Bear so she can change her last name to Bear and then she can be Claire Bear.
Disenchantment was a big disappointment to me, and I don’t think a lot of people think highly of it. I was really looking forward to something new from a crew that seemed burned out on Simpsons and Futurama, but also didn’t want it to just be “Medieval Futurama” where every episode was Adventure of the Day. Now in…
Comparisons to the Comedy Central run felt like best-case scenario, honestly. A mixed bag with topical episodes that had already aged poorly by the time they aired, but with a few modern classics, and if I get a couple more of those classics, then fine. I always said the show’s 2013 ending was perfect because it had…
“Tom, there’s a family of possums in here!”
I know high school is never as dramatic as teen dramas make it out to be, but man, the stuff those Euphoria kids get into makes my teenage years look especially boring. It took me until my early 20's at a music festival to be offered those drugs!
I feel like Mario is the one video game franchise where you can actually get away with a movie that puts references first and plot second. The average schmuck on the street probably isn’t going to know what Labyrinth Zone or Torterra is, but they’ll know what fire flowers and blue shells are. Sure, they might call…
I’ve never read any of the comics and IM3 is still my least favorite MCU installment. All that stuff with the lava people was so freaking dumb, and War Machine went from being badass to a total wiener.
I was definitely underwhelmed with Phase 4. The only movie I really loved was Spider-Man: No Way Home, and even then, I question how much of my love for that was just the endless fan service it provided. Shang-Chi might even be underrated, but it’s also hardly an MCU all-timer. I thought the Disney+ series and their…
I didn’t watch it until a year after it came out for the exact same reason as you. It’s good but not great.
Toy Story 4 was unnecessary, but didn’t manage to ruin any legacies either. Basically felt like a bonus episode. But it also ended with a note of finality with Woody, and if they bring him back, it would squash TS4's main moment of impact. And he feels too essential to the franchise to NOT bring back.
I remember the general sentiment around the original Avatar being awe at the technology and the world itself while complete indifference at the characters and story, so I’m a bit bummed to learn it focuses on the same heroes and villains instead of being an entirely new story within the Avatar universe.
Appropriately, Jimmy Pesto is 100% the Bob’s Burgers character most likely to have attended the insurrection. (The Fischoeders voted for Trump, but they wouldn’t get their hands dirty like that.)
They dropped almost every animated series but get to make exceptions for season premieres, season finales, “milestone” episodes like 200th/300th/etc episodes, and maybe Treehouse of Horror? Twas new ownership fuckery as far as I know.
They have definitely been repeating ideas more since hitting the double digits (Tina has had a number of imaginary boyfriends now). It is unquestionably better than The Simpsons or FG were at this point in their run, and the movie was really good, but I do hope the crew has an endgame planned.
This was how I felt going into Strange 2, as phase 4 is going full multiverse, and surely something huge was gonna happen in a movie with “Multiverse” in its title with implications for future installments. Yet other than one character’s fate, Strange 2 was surprisingly inconsequential to the big picture, and makes me…
Conversely, the music montages are my least favorite parts of Umbrella Academy. The song choices never branch away from the safest, most overdone karaoke hits of the last 40 years, and they’re used largely to comedic effect too. I feel like Stranger Things is more selective. I know Kate Bush was huge in the UK, but…
