Between these top-of-the-line Kias/Hyundais and the Genesis models, they’re attempting to pull an “LS400", as Toyota did with Lexus.

I dunno, I can’t remember the last time I read a bad review of a Kia, interior included. They’ve been crushing it the last five years or so.
That is a DAMN nice looking interior.
Oh, sorry.
Hang on a sec... Lemme just...
Everyone ripped on the e60 5 series when it came out, but it’s proven to be a trend setter and has oddly aged really well (I still prefer the e39 myself, but I really appreciate the e60). Especially on the interior. Minus the archaic iDrive unit, the cabin is pretty similar to what’s being done currently.

Nissan is in considerable financial trouble right now. An all-new car here was a wildly unrealistic expectation.
I don’t see too much wrong with it taking the general shape of the 370Z, the entire Z-lineup has progressed to this shape, so it basically follows the shape of every Z car. Supposedly, this is on a newer platform shared with the Q60-coupe, so it’s not going to be the aging 370Z platform, which means it will probably…
I don’t know what 370Z you drove but the steering and responsiveness in that car is telepathic compared to almost anything else that pretends to be a sports or sporty car. Short wheelbase was darty and nimble, body definitely never wallowed or rolled, and an NA v6 that revs to 7500 rpm. The Sport Pkg with upgraded…
The first thing I noticed is the center console cup holder is at the exact same location as the 370z. Interesting design choice.
“the interior especially is basically identical”
I see your point, but think about the Jeep Wrangler: More evolution than revolution. The shell is familiar, but the bones are still all new. I think the lesson learned is if its not broke, dont fix it.
And the played out “looks like an Accord/Camry/Fusion/Altima” with the side profile shot just because it has a trunk and 4 doors.
I think this looks great, but I’m just here waiting for all the comments about how this car is hideous.
If you go frame by frame it looks like the dual axle trailer the yellow truck is towing is missing the tire from the rear axle on the passenger side. You can see the full shadow of the front trailer tire and then what looks like a very small shadow which might be the rear hub behind it.
My money is on the trailer. I’d bet the hub is still attached. I personally am terrified over losing a trailer tire or cargo, so I check my hubs/tires and tie downs like a crazy person. Other people don’t.
The irony of them having a Wheel Of Fortune sound effect as their doorbell tone is strong with this one.
I bet it came off the yellow dually at the 8 sec mark
