Yeah. It’s the billionaire set buying $30k 240sx’s......

While on one hand i honestly feel sorry for anybody whose livlihood and lifestyle was hit hard by Covid...On the other hand it has allowed me to get my dream toys. Vehicles are privileges and nobody should be made to feel sorry that they dont need a weekly bus pass or have a sucky/no job.

I haven't seen any in years on the road. They are probably rotting away in a junkyard.

Are there all that many left?

Actually, not really. $16,375 in 1990 is $32,965 in 2020 dollars. So the price kept up with inflation. Still impressive for a car with 74k on the clock.

We’re just gonna keep seeing more like this as wealth disparity increases. On one hand you’ve got people who can’t afford a $2500 Craigslist beater to get to work, on the other you have people for whom there’s no practical difference between dropping $6k or $60k on whatever toy currently tickles their fancy.

No we shant *YOINK*

The famous great sounding Chrysler V6

Yeah, were I a buyer, your brand’s “heritage” means sweet fuck all to me, at best. At worst, I’m going to look at Mopar’s “heritage” of horrible build quality.

A marketing plan that will appeal to tens of people.

A Jeep sales person:
“This new Bronco may look interesting to you, but the Wrangler have a V8. Someday. I promise”

When Jeep’s first “Advantage” is heritage, my response is,

Well you see Count Slow car slow, the mirrors stay with the doors while ou....Gently massages your buttocks. Shall we discuss the price?”

Yeah that was funny.

“Bronco has nothing like 4xe”

Neither to do, technically.

I think Jeep’s bullet point about the front differential maintaining more stable ground clearance is a bit dubious”

Cool, but what advantages does this Wrangler have over, say, a train? Which I could also afford.

You know they are desperate when they are citing yet to be released models as advantages.

Ford: Well you still have your mirrors when the doors are removed, so the Bronco is better than the Wrangler.

The first thing I noticed was the vid quality - what is this 4k?
