C/D is testing a Model 3 right now that simply decided it didn’t want to start one day. They got it towed and found it needed a drivetrain swap or something like that. Can’t speak for other brands but I think they might be on to something with Tesla - and they’re not the only ones who have knocked their QC problems.

Baaa ba ba ba ba.... baaa baaa baaa....

That grille.

A truly incredible use of .gif technology.

A turn of events he didn't see coming.

The superpower of misdirection.

Overall good design job on this van. They lengthened and raise the front fenders and hood to give the illusion and proportion of an SUV-inspired conventional 2-box vehicle. Far more effective than GM’s attempt with the 05-08 U platform (Uplander, Montana, Relay, Terraza). One thing that I wish minivan makers could do

all this survey means is for the most part, Dodge buyers don’t see many assembly defects when they get the car and don’t need any unscheduled repair in the first three months of ownership. All it really indicates is that the cars are being put together right at the factory.

According to survey, it’s owners of Teslas that hate Tesla

I believe their research is legit, gathered from car owners, but their “awards” are actually given to any manufacturer that pays for them.

Similarly you’d really think Nissan would be #1. All problems should be resolved after a model has been on the market for 20 years.

To be fair to dodge how many problems can their 2 cars have after 13+ years in production?  I figure those should be worked out by now

I love how the ad says “A/C works as it should”

What I was going to say. I’ve got mad respect for the 3800 Series motors - Reliable, simple, torquey, and decent punch when you want it. Even sound pretty solid.  One of the best motors GM ever made.

Absolutely staggered that a) you didn’t talk about the CRT-based touchscreen control unit that controlled radio, climate, displayed gauges, and more, and that b) said CRT is still operational. Like, you have no idea how huge it is that the CRT is still operational.

Noticed that too. Then noticed all the digital displays are actually still functional, which completely distracted me from the extra 5k plus miles. This car is a steal.

$2500? Nearly everything works? Great shape? This is NP all day and twice on Sundays. This is a great little find.

Begrudging NP, just because it’s throw away money.

Definitely! Replace that missing trim-piece and this thing would basically be 100%. Park it next to the Allante at Radwood and make Chad look like a bitch!

Fer sure! Rare enough that it will be a great conversation-starter anyplace you go where there are gearheads. Cheap enough to be disposable. Surprisingly decent condition, considering its age. Not a car you see every day; or even once a month/year.
