@LindyLou: Well, if she is not drunk that rapist will just go lookin' to hook up with another drunk chick, if not that night, another night. So it's very probable that someone is still going to get raped. And that is all I have for you today.

@deadvole: Right? Georgiana was also tall and statuesque; so much so that just the chance to see a woman with those attributes drew people to her husband's speeches when they were campaigning together.

Huh, a friend of mine just put some old flyers up on facebook for mod shows we all went to. One of the flyers, for a Scooter Rage, shows this ska band named No Doubt opening for my friend's band, the Birminghams (later a band called the Loved Ones, but not the punk Loved Ones). I cannot for the life of me remember

@count_bessy: thank you! i have been married for 17 years, nearly, and can attest to the truth that it is messy, difficult, and complicated.

For some reason I really really dislike Lionel Shriver's opinion pieces. I will not deny that the woman writes well, but in her op-ed pieces she just comes across as annoyingly smug. And this piece is no exception.

Ugh, my Grandmother and Step-grandfather were hoarders, although his was much more severe I think. She grew up in the Great Depression, and he, being much younger, grew up in the UK during WW2 (born in 1936). Anyway, dayum, what a mess he turned her house into. Not to mention that he is quite a clever inventor, and

@regazza_di_lupo: Well, I have one son, and so far I think I have managed not to mess it up. However, I have had to do a lot of work on myself not to just be a bad parent. I'm not even talking about getting violent, but just not respecting my son as a person and having unreasonably high expecations for

@SleeplessNights: PS, your dad really sounds like a prince. Why do people do these things? (Rhetorical question)

@regazza_di_lupo: I am also doubtful. I don't think the cycle of violence will change in our society let alone entirely stop until children are seen as people with human rights of their own rather than the property of their parents or guardians. That's quite a paradigm shift for our society to make.

@Lolita Hazed: Yep, this just about sums it up for me, too.

@VeronicaPeriphetes: Yeah, not a lot has changed since I was a young woman. Sometimes, I feel like things have gotten worse.

@regazza_di_lupo: I am sorry that you had these expriences. I have similar ones in my past. There are so many of us, it seems. It's not a club I wanted to join.

@SleeplessNights: Oh sorry, I thought his quote was your own thoughts. I have similar ones, anyway, am more tired than I though, um, bye.

@jenjen: dunno If I would class GaGa in the same vein as Mariah and Brit Brit. Her clothes, or lack thereof seem almost like a threat, where with them, it seemed to weaken them.

@RupertsDrop: Sorry, haha, my son copes by acting silly too. I mean, he understands but still reacts. I wonder if this is where the groundwork for catcaling and street harrassment get laid? Oh look, a butt, must shout and laugh.Oops forgot butts are attached to real people, with ears
