I’d love to shake him down for all the cheap shit Gallo wine (Gallo gallons) my mom drank while I was a kid. Thank goodness she’s sober now.

Sounds like a coal roller.

I know it didn’t turn out according to Lynch’s vision, but I wish he’d embrace it more. It’s a cult classic film and lots of people enjoyed it, and continue to, including myself.

I’d imagine extreme temperature changes may be a difficult problem for valves. Maybe they need some redundancy.

He’ll subsidize modding the existing diesel busses to roll coal.

My wife and kid were on their way to a dentist appointment today and a sheet of icy snow flew off a truck and hit her car; by chance her wipers were up at the moment and were broken, but at least it didn’t smash the windshield.

The US doesn’t do the right thing, it does the profitable thing.

I wonder how it is compared to seltzer with quinine. My Dad used to drink it because he was in the army way back and it was supposed to prevent malaria, so I tried it and it was so bitterly sour I wondered why anyone would drink it unless they had malaria.

I’d bet anyone that says “okay, boomer” doesn’t even know that it’s short for “baby boomer”, the children of the baby boom following WWII. To them it probably does just mean “old person”.

Not only were these games most popular with Gen-X, they were created by Gen-X, John Carmack (53) being one of the greatest contributors. Boomers had 80's arcade games or Atari 2600 at best.

I would say someone like your dad was a rarity (and very cool), but they should be dubbed Gen-X games, because they were created by Gen-X (John Carmack anyone?) and most popular for that generation.

Boomer games are Pong and Space Invaders. Once again Gen-X is overlooked. Whatever.

Honestly, it’s an extremely played-out joke, and inaccurate. The best jokes have an element of truth.

I always thought a big scare would make you clench up, not let loose. I’ve had plenty of “oh shit” moments but never came close to shitting myself.

Based on the right-wing judge’s concept of “originalism”, any government agency that didn’t exist in 1789 can be considered unconstitutional, but only if it doesn’t fit their agenda.

I wish Caprica had panned out, would have loved to see a good Cylon origin story.

Funny how what “should” happen doesn’t seem to happen at all when it comes to goverment, the law, and rich people.

I would think a company’s stock would rise if run by someone competent.

They let a certain orange idiot run the country for 4 years...

Based on what you’re saying, I’m concerned you mean to literally “hit” the polls with it. Why vote when the elections are rigged though? /s
