I played in numerous bands throughout my 20s. Nothing major, certainly nothing even close to the Smash Mouth level. The personal digs are interesting, coming from Johnson. Particularly the “Unlike him, I did not come from the world of theater” line. Didn’t Johnson come from something of a wrestling dynasty? Not trying to downplay the physical demands of wrestling here but... I mean, it is a form theater, no?

Not thrilled about the special. No, I haven’t seen it. From the coverage alone, I wish they hadn’t. But I get why they did it. $$$. If they’d just moved on, I think we’d be on to another news cycle by tomorrow.

The thing I keep seeing in these interactions, time and again, is how much of these conflicts stem from cops being absolutely unwilling to discuss, course correct, admit the tiniest fault, etc, all in the need to absolutely dominate any situation and any person they are interacting with.

I personally prefer the metric system over Imperial. And the last couple campaigns I ran, I made a conscious effort to use the metric system for descriptions of distances, weights, etc.
