I don’t know for sure, but I think she was talking about a movie where a vehicle had to maintain a certain speed. If it didn’t keep up that speed, the vehicle would explode. So the speed of the vehicle was the important plot point. I believe it was called “The Bus That Couldn’t Slow Down.”

What a bunch of dicks. Now the regulations will become much stiffer, making it much harder to have fun. It’ll make the fun environment a more flacid place to be. I suppose they’ve got to be firm with the rules, though.

YES. The son skips the standard pre-flight anaesthesia and thus is aware of himself for an eternity that passes in an instant for others. He emerges with shock-white hair, wild-eyed and insane.

It reminds me of the Stephen King short story, The Jaunt.
