Jeez, every time I think this place is done, something like this turns up. Good stuff. Damn, it’s been too long since I’ve seen this movie.

Stephen Colbert’s been through some shit.

I don’t think I brought up the lament about “people who paid money to see him deliver comedy”, that was some other guy, and that was what I was addressing.

They’re both standup comedians who took a prominent hosting gig and became the person of the day for reasons they did not intend, they’re totally the same AFAIC, especially if I’m a person who buys a ticket to their standup gig the next week, who is ostensibly the people we’re feeling bad for here.

If I’d paid money to see this guy this week I’d feel ripped off if he didn’t address it, and at some length. Imagine paying to see Chris Rock soon after The Slap - I’m sure he’d deliver a solid set otherwise, but I’d feel let down if he just took the L and didn’t say anything about the subject.

Obviously, the bees know better.

and yet no Iron Eagle 5

god this guy is such a tool

Wasn’t it basically just “A Piece Of The Action” all over again?

I want to see fashionable Minnie Driver

I don’t disagree that we’ll likely not see Dot full-on kill Tillman, but I will feel disappointed if she doesn’t deliver a humiliating beatdown on some level.

I thought Munch was going for a Werner Herzog thing.

I see that we have come all the way back around to “fucking magnets, how do they work”

Yeah, I have no idea who this person is but apparently people are glad to see Jared Leto take the stage from him? Holy shit.

Dot is like a great horror-movie Final Girl. I can’t wait to see her whup Roy’s ass.

To be fair, these are feds that will send a pair of agents to deal with a woman, who claims she has to go to the bathroom, and they let her go unaccompanied and you will strain zero brain cells guessing what happened next.

Complicit she may be, but she’s doing her best to survive in a situation that clearly terrifies her (and it absolutely should) with the limited tools that are available to her. This may well lead her to the grave, but I hope for better.

Acceptably slow, but too nice to be creepy.

still waiting on a slow creepy version of “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”

Not saying you’re wrong necessarily, but this is a lot of thought to put into what might well be dime-a-dozen continuity glitches (look at the way Wayne’s sitting in his big scene), especially in a show shot in a location notorious for on-a-dime weather changes.
