The jump scares are what reminded me of Derrickson. At least in Sinister when you got a jump scare, something scary jumped out. The jump scares here were mostly something already in frame moving, accompanied by a stinger sound.

Wasn’t into this one at all. Maybe people with more patience for “dream logic” will probably get more out of it, while I’m looking at FBI psychic ability tests, magic dolls, some incredibly cheap jump scares, and a lead performance that’s about as expressive as Michael Myers.
