I’m not really well-versed enough in it yet to speak very authoritatively about it, but it looks like Jasika Nicole had a pretty rough time from the showrunners and writing in general. (some of it was apparent while watching - namely the tone-deaf recurring gag of Walter endlessly getting a black woman’s name wrong,

Has to? More like gets to. I quite enjoyed the whimsical little detours on this show, though this one had a bit of a timing problem. (Peter comes clean about something that definitely had potential to blow up his relationship, and then while the potential consequences for that hang in the air, we get two Bell-ivia

I recently re-discovered Fringe and just wolfed it down, loving it just about all the way...only to find out that its production appears to have had much the same shit going on. I imagine Abrams was largely checked out of the day-to-day workings of both shows, but both of these coming up at the same time is a little

If you want to buy that Wick disc, it’s gonna cost you; currently a $50 pre-order and that’s just the blu-ray.

That is exactly how I expected Wes Anderson to dress.

Hmm, much as I loved Farscape, I really hated PKW at the time and re-watched it within a few months just to make sure I wasn’t off my nut. I haven’t seen it since then, I suppose I should one day now that the cancellation no longer stings and I’ve had a lot of years to learn that even my favourite shows are full of

And he got bumped off with, as they say, zero fucks given - they hardly even needed to bring in the same actor. Seems like The Last Jedi soaked up all the outrage over stuff like this (oh no, not Admiral Ackbar!).

Truly, time comes for us all.

This seems really healthy.

I don’t think Statham has been in any great movies, but he’s been in so many good ones.

Nobody had to abuse anybody for me to be wretchedly sick of this guy.

Man, I did not like the way that dude said “clean”.

I never did see Big Sky but Katheryn Winnick would’ve gotten me to check it out if it ever actually sunk into my brain that she starred in it. I knew this! And yet.

Didn’t Iron Man 3 have a for-China scene where Tony hawks an energy drink or some shit? I have to go to work, I’m not looking this up myself.

Weaver always said she saw the Ripley/Newt relationship as more like sisters, fwiw.

If it said (Hypnotic arrives in theaters on May 12, 2023) yesterday, I missed it.

Wow, barely 90 minutes. The Rodriguez name doesn’t exactly excite me but a tight runtime might discourage his weapons-hidden-in-everything excesses.
