It looks really ugly.
It looks really ugly.
I deeply dislike the steering wheel of the DB9 but as far as I’m concerned the DB9 and more specifically the DBS is one of, if not the best, looking car that Aston has ever made.
Yeah, pretty sure the DB9, DBS, and 20xx era V8 Vantage are in my hall of fame for car design. Damn things still look brand new to me.
Still think the DB9 looks better.
There are many grand tourers, but at least in my book, the Aston Martin DB9 is the pinnacle of them all. The design…
Since this is Genesis news, I’ll just leave this here. Manual G70 confirmed by Genesis Canada website. EDIT: it’s on the US site as well.
Despite all of this, we live in the best era for human driving, and mobility, in the history of humanity.
The “golden age” has no manual RWD V8 sedans or wagons. Even taken in parts, sedans are declining, manuals account for 3% of new sales, and everyone thinks they need AWD or go with the cheapest option (FWD). Almost everything seems to be 4 cylinders.
I really want to agree with you, but the lack of manuals really kills it for me.
Thank you :). This one was taken at Croft Castle in Herefordshire (was visiting friends nearby in Ludlow, then went down to other friends in Cornwall). Some beautiful roads in this area, which were a whole lot of fun in that car...
The caveat is if it’s “used”, the most bang for the buck is if the car has over 24,000 miles and at least 2 model years old. Look at prices for popular car models (Highlander, CRV, Pilot, Odyssey, Sienna, etc.) with under 20,000 miles and less than 2 model years out - savings are minimal because financing is not…
First Gear: Don’t worry. When the tax cut comes through, the 1% will be handing out money in the streets to the less fortunate and they will be able to buy new cars.
This was a fantastic write up from a point of view and situation we dont often get to know about. Thanks for this.
This was a great read. What an interesting position to find yourself in!
What a cool and interesting perspective. Thanks David.
For the past few years, I’ve held a dark secret: while my colleagues scrambled to learn about the all-new 2018 Jeep…
The last V8 Vantage was the perfect looking car in my mind and this has rather ruined it. Won’t age as well as the last either, much to busy.
TOGGLES. NO TOUCH SCREEN. CLICKY, CHUNKY, GLORIOUS TOGGLES.
THANK YOU. I probably won’t but it due to car seat needs, but THANK YOU.
Ive always liked that car. Nissan and Infiniti were on a roll with the 350z, G35, FX35. Now all of their cars are in need of updates and look bloated.
I know this sounds bad, but I don’t care...
