That would be a ballsy move on a VW dealer’s part. I can’t imagine the risk of even more bad publicity would be worth selling a few extra Jetta’s in the short term.

I don’t mind the vents (although it does look cleaner without them), but I really don’t like those stupid fang looking things on the grille. That and the sometimes painted lipstick around said grille, and it really can detract from the timeless design.

Those ACRs are badass. I love how old school it’s approach to speed is. Huge power and huge downforce.

I’ve always wondered why cheaper gas has such an affect on sales of trucks/big engined cars etc. I mean I understand the concept, but if the price of gas is the deciding factor for someone to afford the vehicle, what’s going to happen if gas prices increase..

Exactly. Sure that puts even more pressure on VW to fix all the cars as soon as possible, but at the end of the day it will mostly just affect the consumers. That would not make people happy at all.

No, not at all. I never said Volvo copied anyone. I see a lot more CRV’s around than Volvo wagons, and these particular taillights look very similar. Just pointing it out..
