The only one I don’t agree with is the Lexus. People buy it because they want an SUV and can afford something a little nicer. Pretty assumptive to think it’s just about the image people want to portray.

Fair enough. Like I said I haven’t used one before so I can’t totally relate, just my first thought when I read about this issue.

I’ve never used one of those shifters, but isn’t it second nature to grab the shifter when your parking and select park, regardless of the position it’s in?

Do they still look cool or nah?

I get what you’r saying, but Ford fully intended the GT to be a road car as well as a race car. Not sure how they could have done that if they made it an LMP1.

Thanks for writing this article, this guy is one hell of an inspiration. Pretty sure he has all of Jalopniksville rooting for him now too.

Thanks

Do you mind explaining how the Corvette team got screwed over? I’m trying to learn more about endurance racing and not exactly sure how the BoP works. Did Ford go slow on purpose during practice to bring the top guys down?

That’s one hell of a way to trade insurance information.

I can’t wait to see what Harris and Carey can do with that budget. They made great stuff before, but this should be just sublime.

I watched a video from Carlos Lago awhile ago. Basically he says that Motor Trend does several runs to get the absolute best times they can, and then they take that data and apply some algorithms or whatever to control for all those variables.

That’s understandable though, uncomfortable seats suck.

If you want to come away from your car feeling less fatigue etc then maybe you shouldn’t be doing spirited driving at all.

Don’t worry, I understood

Fair enough. Though I wouldn't exactly call those sport sedans either.

Man, I tried braking with my left foot once and nearly stalled because I stopped so hard. Heal toe is easy as pie, but this I want to learn.

I think something like this would get that idea across better.

At least Jaguar has one of the best corporate designs out there.

I think the problem is that the original fundamentals(proportions, general shape etc) and design(vents, grill etc) were made to work together and doing a redesign while keeping the same fundamentals leads to a less cohesive look.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Unless they put a lot of focus on suspension, handling characteristics etc. it’s just a quick family sedan, not a sports sedan.
