While the Bose system is not “impressive” to some who have experience with higher end systems it does not sound bad and does sound better than many.

It can’t be understated how good Volvo’s B&W systems sound. It’s not a cheap option, but after hearing it, you will likely always feel some regret about not ticking that option box.

Get the nicest Lexus CT200h you can find, and save a boatload of money. Take some of that saved money and upgrade the speakers if the stereo is not up to snuff. volvo V60 stationwagon (is this still the same Jalopnik from Spinelli days?) with the new B5 engine which is a hybrid. i have it with the bowers and wilkinson stereo in it which beats anythign i’ve ever heard, simply amazing stereo
